How to Fix Knee Valgus | Knees that cave in

Knee valgus – also known as “knocked knees” – are knees that cave in and this condition would cause trouble for the rest of your body. There are two versions of this, one that is functional and would only show when doing certain exercises, and the other version that is more severe and much more noticeable.

Knee valgus is a very common occurrence in the weight room and sports. You’ll commonly see the functional version during these movements: squatting, lunging, jumping, landing, climbing and descending stairs, and gait/running. If you're wondering how you can fix knee valgus, not to worry!

Both can be fixed with regular exercise and training to help realign the knees. Speak with your personal trainer if you have any questions or concerns before performing these exercises. Otherwise, watch the video below to see what these exercises are and how you can perform them!
