This Thumper Verve single-sphere massager was highly recommended by my acupuncturist, who uses one in her office to relax muscles and reduce tension prior to acupuncture treatment. This product is a great pain-relief option for tight, sore, or contracted muscles, and it can also be used to break-up muscle adhesions. The massager seems very well-made, unlike less expensive 'off-the-shelf' sports massagers. Highly recommend!
I like this device as it is uniquely suited for a hand held Massager to self-use while stretching certain parts of my body. This is the 2nd product I've purchased from Thumper and I like both. What I would prefer is that this one would stand up to more applied pressure. I can take more pressure perhaps than most people and it stops working when I really crank on it. For the money, I would expect better.
